KERT Landscaping Ltd. is a business working in the Tri-City area (Port Coquitlam, Coquitlam, and Port Moody), extending to Maple Ridge, Pitt Meadows, New Westminster, Burnaby and parts of Vancouver. This third-generation landscaper is equally committed to quality work, traditional European craftsmanship, and timely project completion.
Steven is the oldest son of the late Fred Eglsaer, hailing from Montreal. Steven has been involved in the landscaping profession since 1987 when he started working for the family-owned and managed company called KERT Landscape Ltd. KERT Landscape Ltd. was very reputable business, providing superior service to Montreal and surrounding areas from 1962 to 2012. They were a fully licensed and insured landscape design and installation company in the summer, and a premium snow removal company in the winter.
KERT Landscape Ltd. served many landmarks such as the Champlain Regional College, Montreal Children’s Hospital, Verdun Hospital and Alexander Hospitals for many years. Over the years, Fred showed his sons a formula for success that works – quality workmanship at a competitive price and a passion for professionalism. During his tenure in his father’s company, Steven worked as a general laborer with the extra duties of hiring and supervising crews, overseeing jobs, ordering and delivering materials, excavating, designing plans, and managing finances. In the last quarter of 2002, Steven Eglsaer decided to create his own landscaping company here in British Columbia.
Taking the name “KERT” as a tribute to the original family business that represents the tenets of:
